2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo: Why You Should Attend

2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo: Why You Should Attend

This April, hundreds of representatives from the medical cannabis community will congregate for three days of learning and sharing in Pittsburgh, PA for the 2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo.

CMN Holdings has chosen to participate in this leading event as we seek to advance our relationships across the country with cannabis doctors and dispensaries, and we invite more to attend.

Here’s why the 2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo from April 12-14 is one you shouldn’t miss:

The Hosts with the Most

The 2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo is hosted in Pennsylvania with the support of the Compassionate Certification Centers, of which CMN Holdings is a partner in cannabis education.

Compassionate Certification Centers is a group of medical doctors in the state of Pennsylvania who have joined forces to create a state of the art medical center that focuses on connecting people with cannabis for medical purposes.

Being a partner of the Compassionate Certification Centers, we’ve been able to witness the exemplar approach that these doctors are taking to ensuring the citizens of their state have cannabis access. We believe that anyone in the cannabis community, especially those who are from newly legalized states, will stand to learn quite a bit from their story and their approach.

Excellent Lineup of Guest Speakers

Scrolling through the list of guest speakers, anyone in attendance will know they’re in for some incredible learning and take-aways.

There’s a significant presence from the athletic community this year, with the likes of Darren McCarty (NHL) and Todd Herremans (NFL) coming out in support for medical cannabis for athletes.

The CEO and co-founders of the Compassionate Certification Centers, Dr. Bryan Doner and Melonie Kotchey will share about their journey in founding Compassionate Certification Centers across Pennsylvania.

CMN Holdings’ own CEO Philip Cohen will also be a guest speaker, where he will talk patient education, and how your practice or dispensary can increase patient literacy and decrease perceived wait times through engaging cannabis content.

Tackling Important Topics

The topics presented on the conference schedule show that this is not just your regular cannabis conference; it demonstrates how sophisticated the industry has become with cutting-edge topics that are becoming more emergent in the cannabis discourse.

Children and cannabis, cannabis for veterans, cannabis for athletes, cannabis education strategies, social media for cannabis, cannabis banking, cannabis branding, cannabis research, and so much more are topics that are to be explored through highly qualified speakers. These are the leaders of their niche of the industry, and their wisdom is waiting to be imparted at the 2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo.

Collaborate, Collaborate, Collaborate

Anyone who attends a cannabis conference will know that exhibitions are an excellent way to meet a lot of people in a very short time. The exhibitors page for the conference shows that many of the industry heavyweights are coming, and are ready to speak to other cannabis contributors.

CMN Holdings always likes to be prepared when we’ll be attending these conferences. How can you be prepared as well? Here’s a few tips from our conference preparation routines:
