CMN Holdings Inc. prides itself in creating and curating high-quality digital display media content for cannabis doctors and dispensaries for the purposes of cannabis education.
Our approach isn’t just about throwing out a bunch of information on a screen and hoping it gets the attention of patients; it’s about studying the way people learn to ensure that we’re creating messaging through a medium that works for all types of learners.
Understanding Adult Learners
One of the principles of education that we have learned from is the Six Perceptual Modalities or Preferred Learning styles of adults. In adopting these principles into the way we create our education programs, we can ensure that we’re reflecting the needs of all learners. We recognize that adults over the age of 21 accessing cannabis learn a lot differently than children and teenagers in formal educational settings, and from this recognition, we build our content so that it’s accessible and understandable for adults.
One of the frameworks of adult learning we appreciate is the Six Perceptual Modalities or Preferred Learning Styles of adult learners. We work to weave some of each of these principles into CMN’s display media programming:
While we are limited to how we can present information through display media to some types of learners who learn through touch, taste, and smell, we use creativity and some of the most cutting-edge educational principles being used in display media to help get messages across to all Americans about cannabis. We are flexible, innovative, and adaptable in the way we bring the information from our advertisers, investors, and cannabis educators to those in dispensaries and doctor’s waiting rooms.
Continuous Education in Adult Education
CMN Holdings’ understands that display media is forever evolving, and we dedicate ourselves to reviewing adult educational principles like these above on a regular basis. We also continuously learn from our peers and the way they’re using digital signage to reach adult learners.
We are pleased to have the opportunity next week to participate in the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, March 27-29. We are poised to learn from other digital signage specialists on the strategies they use to reach adult learners so that we can continuously adjust and enhance cannabis education for the growing legal industry.
